I can not stop experimenting with Essie's Matte About You!

I have tried dark colours, light colours, glitter, ombre matte....you name it I have tried it! Such a fun alternative to shiny normal nails. I find it does look best with darker colours, but I've also seen some awesome light pink matte manicures online too.

Seriously its addicting... but super hard to find!!

How Sweet Eats

I am a super picky eater but LOVE to cook.

I wouldn't say I'm an amazing chef but the food always turns out pretty good ( or at least my friends are to nice to tell me otherwise!!) and I really enjoy making it. Ive definitely found, as a picky eater, enjoying cooking has expanded my palette, because how can the chef not try the dish!!!

A little while ago I was wandering around the internet and came across this recipe and knew I had to give it a go.

Think Pink

Watching the SAG awards this year I kept noticing how popular the colour pink was!
I personally love hot pink and think its a great way to add a pop of colour to your outfit.

I don't know how everyone isn't talking about this show.

I discovered Episodes about two years ago and have been waiting for everyone else to catch on ever since!!

Episodes Trailer

Episodes is about a writer/producer couple who move to LA to make an American version of their highly successful British show. The show follows them as they develop their show for an American audience and deal with the struggles of working and living in Hollywood. Its a well written and very funny show that  really plays on all the stereotypical Hollywood  stories you hear about.

It stars Tasmin Greg and Stephen Mangan as the married writer couple. It also stars Matt LeBlanc (how you doinnn) as himself but as a way over the top version.
I am fully aware its an award winning TV show, so other people must be watching, how is there not more hype over Episodes?

PS. Season 3 starts sometime this year.

Club 33

Who doesn't love Disney & Disney World?

I LOVED Disney movies as a child and also happen to of been to Euro Disney and Tokyo Disney World.  I even went the Lion King premiere in 1994 and was the envy of every other 6 year old on the playground.

As fun as the parks were finding out there is an elite, VERY expensive Disney World club called Club 33 seems a little ridiculous to me.  Who is going to Disney World for fine dining and expensive wines?  I just find it such an odd concept to have  VIP fine restaurant in the middle of the most commercialized, amusement park in the world.

Though that Mickey Mouse desert looks taaaaasty,some people just have to much money and apparently to much free time!

Quality Style

UGH...Sigh...Major style envy!!!I could list 10000 reasons why Millie Mackintosh from Made in Chelsea has won my style heart

but I wont bore you with all 10000, so here are my top three!

1.Her style IMPECCABLE
2.Her overall persona ( Which I clearly know well, from TV ha.) is ..well put nicely um, very direct. She really speaks her mind.Kind of like someone else I know...Hmmm!
3.Her name is awesome! "Camilla Mackintosh" just sounds so proper and British.

I would DIE for her wardrobe. Someone needs to take me back to my home (proudly British by birth) and start dressing me like Millie ASAP! Ive definitely noticed that we dress a lot more casual in North America, and I want to wear high heels and not be running through snow... wahhh. hah

The One With The Hyphen

I spent a little over 15 hours straight this week, stuck in this studio working on a job.

To be fair it was the coldest day of the week ( -23C ,for those of you who think i'm just complaining) and with a 6:30AM call time AND a blizzard starting at 7AM, I was MUCH happier to be inside!
You do get a little stir crazy hanging out in one place for so long, but everyone on the shoot was great and we all had a fun time!

Another One For The Wall

I LOVE this painting

I saw it a couple months ago in a frame store window, (the store was closed) and have never made it back to ask who the artist was. I love the contrast between the bright prints and colour of the background against black and white in the front. I also love the big white frame and have a feeling both might be an expensive but it really is stunning!!

 There was also an awesome John Lennon and Yoko Ono painting by the same artist but I wasn't able to get a good window shot... :(

How great would this look next to Love Me ?

Everyones seen the McQueen silk skull scarfs. This is just the cuter smaller version,that you can wear on your wrist. Though the price tag deters me ( as do most price tags...sigh), I cant stop checking out all the different colours!

Pet Peeve

So I've started to notice when i'm out for dinner, how many people are taking pictures of their meals.
As much as I love to take pictures, and definitely take some of the yummy snacks I make, I find this documenting your every meal trend kind of odd. I personally find being on your phone during a meal rude in the first place, but thats a whole other matter.... :)

Case Fail

I have been wanting a new iPhone case for a while and had seen I had seen this really awesome iPhone case online.
The case looks like an old school camera. The phone still takes pictures but it looks like you are taking a picture with a real camera.
So cute and such a fun piece for some one who takes a lot of pictures on their phone!
I had been contemplating buying it for a while but with a $60.00 price tag I just couldn't justify it. But when I was downtown yesterday I saw the case for sale and decided to just go for it.

Not my best purchase.

As adorable as it looks, its very impractical. The lens only really stays on if its not touched. Which is fine for taking pictures but as soon as you have to use the phone its useless!! The case also is very bulky and with my small purses, just isn't going to work out.
